Gwinnett Daily Post

Would'nt it be great if we could all end the year on an up-beat note? No
mean spirited outpouring of political rhetoric. No sour grapes about battles lost and no gloating about battles won. A time of reconciliation and a recognition
that we are all in this leaky boat to-gether. Having said that, allow me to address an issue that begs to be heard. The Gwinnett Daily Post does not deserve to be catagorized as a 'running dog' of creeping liberalism. There, I've said It!
This paper has never billed itself as anything but what it is, a bastian of conservative 'values' and ideas........and yet it has always provided a platform in its letters to the editor section for those of us who may oppose those views. This
to me, is the mark of what a good newspaper is all about. There are those who rant and rave whenever a conflicting political agenda appears in the editorial section, because they obviously believe that 'freedom of speech' should have a 'my' in front of it. Well, be that as it may, I extend to one and all my best wishes
and hopes for a better to-morrow. Once this warm and fuzzy feeling goes away I'll probably be back tilting at windmills and popping off about whatever bugs me and I hope you will be right here doing the same.
