Liberal bias is undeniable

Johny Friar of Auburn states in his letter of Jan. 5, "Liberal bias is undeniable".
He is referring to the the media here, but let's take it a step further, all Liberals are biased. I'm a liberal and I am most certainly biased. Having said that, Johnny, "what's in YOUR wallet"? When you look into your mirror, do you not see a biased conservative looking back at you? It really is ridiculous to deny that bias exists in all walks of life. Certainly ALL media outlets are not liberally motivated. Columnists like Cal Thomas and Bill Riley cannot be construed as 'Liberals', can they? Mr. Friar, this may come as a shock, but there are Americans out there who just don't approve of some of the things this administration is doing and are exercising their right to speak out. They are not necessarily liberal Democrats. I'm sure you would be among the first to
lash out at a Democratic led congress who attempted to shield members accused of ethics violation from prosecution when one of their own was about to be indicted. Democrats have been accused of being unpatriotic for critisizing
the Bush administration's handling of the war in Iraq. I have lived long enough to have seen many Democratic presidents pilloried by the righteous right for a variety of reasons. Were they biased? You bet they were. I contend that every
man jack of us is biased to one degree or another and if you're looking for proof of this in the media you can certainly find it. Personally, I could care less. A conservative friend of mine pointed out to me that my critique of the Bush administration reminded him of himself when he was lambasting Bill Clinton etal.
When it comes to 'bias', we are all definitely birds of a feather.
