Bush not-all powerful

Tony Rivera has once again, in his recent letter ("Bush not-all powerful") ridden on his white charger to defend the president against all antagonists, and while he was at it, made a point to give his blessing to the the big oil companies and tell us why they are entitled to enormous profits while the rest of us go broke at the pumps. He blames 'liberals' for the shortage of refineries and goes on to say how they "only seek to cripple our nation". He refers to them as "enviro-whackos". Well, Tony, there are whackos and there are whackos. I'm inclined to reserve that word for anyone who thinks that wanting to save our environment from polluters is an attempt to "cripple our nation" He goes on to tell us that the president is doing what's right even if it is'nt popular. Has it occured to Tony that maybe what he is doing is'nt popular because it is'nt right? Yes, it is true that Bush was elected by a majority who felt he was up to the job. There's a new majority now who think he is'nt. Not having Tony's remarkable insight, I'm willing to let. the chips fall where they may and hope the liberals go gently into that good night. How dare they question the great decisions emanating from the White House. Once we rid ourselves of the liberal, enviro-whackos and tree huggers and a one party system is firmly in place, all will be well.
King George for life anyone?
