Cold War Two
Just when Americans thought we just about had all on our plate that we could handle, along comes good old Dick Cheney to resurrect the cold war with our old adversaries in the former Soviet Union. Perhaps Cheney believes that in chastising president Putkin for copping out on human rights issues in Russia he would divert attention from the woeful and ongoing gaps in credibility he has helped to bring about in this country.
Nice try, Dick, but I don't really believe this long suffering generation of citizens is in the mood to dance to that tune. Instead of concentratiing
attention on the multitude of problems facing us, the Bush Administration is going the old pompous finger pointing route and hoping we'll get off its back and find a new old target to kick around. The point is, I seriously doubt many Americans give two hoots in hell what goes on in Russia
unless it threatens to start sending missiles to Cuba again. We have become hard wired into expecting the unexpected bizaare logic from our
politicians and meddling in other peoples business meets the criteria.
Enough Already!
