Letter to the editor

As a medicare card carrying member of "the greatest generation" and a world War Two combat veteran, I want everyone to know that I helped save the world for democracy and freedom, not to mention mom and her apple pie. If it was'nt for the likes of me we'd all be speaking Japanese and German....instead of Spanish. Honor me or not, I made a difference.
