BRING IT ON
There comes a time when the better part of valor is to get the hell out. This country has been, for all too long, embroiled in mideast affairs, including failed attempts at nation building ala Iraq and trying to keep the Israelis and Palestinians off each others backs. Enough Already!
With every passing day it gets worse and anybody who thinks otherwise needs to trade in the rose tinted glasses for a pair of binoculars. I don't think its an exaggeration to say that we are on the brink of confrontation with Syria and Iran, not to mention North Korea and anyone else who chooses to accepts Bush's challenge to "BRING IT ON". There is probably no point in trying to isolate the terrorists by nationality. They are everywhere, including right here is the good old U.S. of A.
I have long advocated that we deal with problems here at home and let some of the other industrialized nations, such as Germany and France, wet their beaks in the cess pool of international chaos. We truly need a time out. If the Arab world cannot bring itself to live in peace with Israel, then perhaps its time for the Israelis to cry, "BRING IT ON" and get it sorted out once and for all. Tomorrow I will probably feel remorseful for having said that, but today and I am up to here in the idiotic and perilous course the world seems determined to take. Wouldn't it be a joyous day if all of the combatants shouted, "PEACE! BRING IT ON".
Check with the Las Vegas odds makers from time to time to see what the chances are of this happening.
