If ever there was a more justifiable reason for sending Donald Rumsfeld to pasture with the moo cows, his latest address to an American Legion audience has to win the prize. Comparing protesters of the war in Iraq to Nazi sympathizers prior to World War Two is only the latest in a myriad of stupid comments attributable to the most incompetent seceretary of defense in living memory . I don't care which side of the fence you are in how the war in Iraq is being conducted by this administration, the ongoing miscalculations, misjudgements and idiotic statements made by Rumsfeld has to be apparent to the most casual of observers. Whenever I dwell on the fact that George Bush opted to keep him on and let Colin Powell slip away, I feel as though he threw out the baby and kept the bath water.
