Letter to the editor

On my way out to the driveway to pick up my newspaper I was pleased to see what a pleasant day it was going to be. Pleased, that is, until I read Cal Thomas's column. It seems that Mr. Thomas has concluded that the Iraq study group had it all wrong and he alone knew the answers and how to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat. Well, perhaps not he alone. There is George Bush and his motley crew to act as back up band to his customary rendition of 'kill em all' rhetoric. If ever anyone was further out of step with the American people, he has yet to surface and hopefully never will. Why the 'Post' continues to subject its readers to Cal Thomas's mindless rantings is hard to understand. I realize that everyone is entitled to his opinion, but Cal goes beyond that entitlement and uses it to maliciously impugn the integrity of men far more knowledgeable than himself...and that, by any measure is a very long list.
