No goodies for Kim
Nate Mccullough's column (Taking Away Korean Leader's toys wont make him behave") was smack on the money. Washington just can't stop trying to outdo itself in stupid ideas. As Nate pointed out, Kim Jong would have no trouble accessing anything his cold heart desires, except perhaps a
one on one sit down with our own exhalted leader. I have suggested in the past that President Bush call Kim's bluff and face off with him once and for all, if for no better reason than to show the world we would leave nothing off the table to get this bad boy to wise up and act like a grown up despot, instead of the spoiled brat despot he appears to be. At the moment, at least, Kim's insanity seems to be in remission. Let's hope that it remains so, at least until we find a way to get a handle on the Iraq debacle.
In the meantime, maybe we could let the poor guy have a new choo choo to keep him busy.
