The comeback kid?
Al Gore almost had them standing in the aisles when he appeared to be about to announce his run at the oval office during the Oscar awards ceremonies. It was a funny moment, but despite his laughing it off and saying his time had passed, politics can take some strange twists when conditions are just so. One of those conditions would be an escalation of negative rhetoric between the Democratic candidates. Gore has risen in stature over the years since his last run for office and is respected throughout the world for his contributions to-wards dealing with global warming , a subject the current President has largely ignored up until now. Of course this may just be idle speculation and the odds on likelihood may continue to be a Hillary/Obama race right up until show time, but as the great jazz pianist, Fats Waller used to say, "One never knows, do one?"
