Blowin' in the wind
Deryl Duncan, in his letter "Gore should heed his own words", has aligned himself with the ever diminishing minority of nay sayers regarding the validity of global warming. This in spite of an overwhelming majority of the worlds scientists confirmation that it really is happening. Daryl uses Al Gore as his target with a very lame tirade on Gore's personal use or misuse of energy, "traveling to hollywood to hobnob with his movie star friends ," Flying to Arab countries to pick up his apologetic speech money" ad nauseum. Come on Mr. Duncan, even George Bush is beginning to acknowledge something is amiss, albeit grudgingly. Deryl claims that Mr. Gore or "Big Al" as he calls him is "spewing hot air and commenting about something he knows nothing about". What is it, I wonder, does Duncan know that the rest of the world does'nt? One thing for sure is that he knows he can never bring himself to praise the work of any political figure beyond his increasingly narrow concave of knee jerk right wing nuts. I'm just thankful that "Big Al" didn't take credit for inventing global warming.
