What don't we get?

After seeing tens of thousands of Iraqi citizens draped in Iraqi flags marching in the streets of baghad on the anniversary of the fall of Baghdad, screaming for American troops to leave, I am totally confused as to why we insist on staying there. They don't like us, they don't want us there and we continue to swallow the line trhat we're on some kind of holy mission of salvation. We are not considered as liberators, we are considered to be occupiers and therefore enemies. The overwhelming majority of the Iraqi people appear to be loyal followers of the Shiite militant, Mugtada al-Sadr, who hates our guts and wants us gone. It's an outrage for our young soldiers and marines to be stuck in the middle of such a cesspool of hatred. Let them burn somebody elses flag and leave them dancing in the streets shouting for the coming of another Saddam Hussein. They already seem to have one waiting in the wings.

Comments:
I agree America has grown to confident with the wars the country has won. Now we believe that it is our duty to help democratize other countries if we do not like their government. If their is no current up rising and the people are happy we have no business to change their political views and enrage their citizens. The Iraq war at first targeted terrorists. Now we reform their government when our is not by any means perfect. What right do we have?
