For whom it boom

Ask not for whom the boom booms, because it surely doesn't boom for everyone.
At least according to the nine pages of foreclosures in one of my local newspapers,
it doesn't. We keep hearing about how the economy is just growing in leaps and bounds
and when we try to corral someone in our middle class neighborhood to show us the money, we come up with bupkis and blank stares. Who then, are the recipients and beneficiaries of all this new found largess. It 'ain't me, that's for damned sure.I hate to be the one to drag out the old "money goes to money" cliche, but well, there it is folks. There it is.The labor market shows little, if any gains in wage increases and more and more of our manufacturing jobs have gone south, or to be more precise, out of town, WAY out of town and across the ocean blue.Oh there are unquestionably those in certain high tech industries that are raking it in right now and if you happened to have a connection with some toy manufacturers in China who have managed to get the lead out, you could be in hog heaven, but the rest of us lower echelon citizens might as well go fish, because when Washington touts that 'boom' bell, my fellow Americans, it does not necessarily toll for me and thee.
