All together now.....
If I were Barack Obama or John Edwards I would not plan on playing a meaningful role
in any Hillary Clinton administration should she be elected to the presidency. Unlike the Republican debaters, who were a tad more 'democratic' in spreading their attacks,
Obama and Edwards in particular, concentrated their efforts on trashing Hillary's objectives and personal reputation at every turn. Oh, the Republican candidates took their shots, but that was to be expected, but they were more even-handed in dishing it out to their fellow wannabes as well. You could practically smell the fear emanating from both sets of debaters, because they knew that Sen. Clinton was most likely to be the democratic candidate for the oval office. At least at this time she is. Governor Richardson was the only candidate who had the decency to ask that the personal attacks stop. He probably has his eye on a cabinet post he covets. Perhaps he is just a nice guy who deserves a closer look. While I am not particularly enamored of the idea of Hillary for president, I couldn't help feeling a bit protective after watching the 'boys of November' take turns in their 'manly' assaults on her. Right now, the expression, "none of the above" has a pleasant ring to it. In Hillary's case, she needs to hold her enemies close and her friends even closer.
