Isn't it touching to hear the noble speeches that losers make when they throw in the towel? Now that the decks are clear for John McCain to assume the Republican nomination for the Presidency and the only man standing in his way....sort of....is poised to fold his tent and await the nod for the vice presidency, the Democratic contenders are about to start the up-hill swim for the ultimate prize. There really is no point in Mike Huckabee hanging around now that he's succeeded in deflecting right wing conservative votes away from Mitt Romney that may well have been a deciding factor in Romney's 'suspending' his bid for the Presidency. What would happen, I wonder if either Clinton or Obama were to flip a coin right now to see who goes and who stays, with the loser being guaranteed the Vice Presidency ala Huckabee? Of course the voters would have to go along with it and funnel all their support to the winner of the flip. I know, I know, such a ploy would be unimaginable..........would'nt it?
