Let them eat cake

Well, it looks like America's uncrowned queen will have to await another day for the coronation. You never would have known it Tuesday night even after it was determined that Barack Obama was the acknowledged heir to the Democratic candidacy. Hillary pitched a speech that was anything but capitulation and just a continuation of her drive for what she deems to be her inherent right, the Democratic contender for the Presidency of the United states. No one can ever say she didn't give it a college try and we may not have seen the last of her in this election. Will she be Obama's pick for vice-president? Not unless he likes the role of second banana, because Lady Hillary plays second fiddle to no man, but miracles do happen, don't they? The chances are that she will be offered a cabinet post, but she hasn't turned down the offer of V.P., so right now speculation is running high....for those who care. Somehow I can't imagine 'Bubba' Clinton standing outside looking in. It just isn't part of his character description. This promises to be a fun-filled election and Lord knows, we the long suffering recipients of bad news in government are sorely in need of a few laughs to augment the hysterics of inflated gasoline prices and imported garbage. Happy days are on the way.
