Enough already!
Just for the record, I'm getting a little tired of guys like me spouting off on the presidential election, blowing a lot of meaningless smoke and otherwise showing the political acumen of a tapeworm. Who are we to judge who is best qualified to run the country? Look at our track record. The right wing nuts and the liberal weenies are running neck-and-neck when it comes to having the inside track on what constitutes a good solid government to replace the shameful losers we've had to endure for the past eight years. With any luck we'll come up with a team that won't end up leaving us smoldering in a pyre of nuclear waste. Everybody thinks they have all the answers and the truth is they're not even sure of the questions. Maybe we should just tell McCain and Obama to step aside and let the vice presidential candidates duke it out. It should be fun trying to decide which one is least qualified to lead from day one. Too bad this can't be decided in a courtroom. We could declare a mistrial and send everybody home. I'm sure Ralph Nader would be willing to step into the pinch hitters box.
