Ho Hum
Ernest Wade, running true to form in his letter," "09 predictions", in making an all out attack on Democrats, liberal Democrats in particular, should finally lay to rest all claims to non partisanship on his part.He says he doesn't favor either party, but that dog won't hunt. Mr. Wade is not about to cut the new President Elect any slack and is already predicting a whole new bag of dire scenarios that lay in wait for us at the hands of that ' running dog' of the, you should pardon the expression, 'liberal left'. I concede that Ernest has every right to his opinions and Lord knows he's not bashful about expressing them, but its high time he came off his right wing soap box and realize that there are good citizens of liberal persuasion who don't appreciate his constant one sided denigrating of their political views. Criticism is one thing, rabid, mean spirited outpourings is something else. What is it going to take for Mr Wade to finally get it? HE LOST. The people have spoken and the least he can do is give their duly elected president his turn at bat.I doubt there will ever be a governing body in this country that will ever meet Mr. Wades 'high standards' barring a resurrection of Herbert Hoover, but then again, he might not make the cut either. I have on occasion praised Mr. Wade's position on some issues and expressed admiration for his well thought out deliveries. I just can't fathom his unwillingness to let the new administration demonstrate what it can or cannot accomplish. Fair is fair, Ernest.
