The return

Nothing is forever and that includes my absence from this column caused by an inconvenient diversion known as heart surgery, which I'm happy to say, ended well and I'm once again ready to regale you with my political wisdom and all encompassing views on everything. Truth is I've missed spouting off and will probably be coming at you in a more restrained , self controlled manner. Probably, but not positively. I've turned 83 since my last letter to the editor and I don't see much 'mellowing out' in my bathroom mirror, so give me time to adjust to my new willingness to to face my right wing critics with compromising composure and attempts at even handed dialogue. Perhaps such an amount of time doesn't exist, but I promise to give it my my best shot.

I love you all out there, especially those who prayed for my recovery, and for those who didn't, you'll get yours in my following letters.

George Morin
Auburn, Ga.
