Letter to the editor

I'm talking about the letter writers. There are frequent days when there ARE no letters to the editor. Are we running out of issues to write about? Are we bummed out on the same old, same old? Health care, education, the Middle East and the obvious fact that our government is broken, although that depends on who you listen to, a tax and spend liberal Democrat or a conservative bewailer. I really don't think anyone believes the lines are that clearly joined anymore. Whatever the reason, I mourn the dirth of letters and am hopeful more folks will vent their spleens. I also hope the parameters of interest will widen and we start kicking new...uh.. lower thighs. Sometimes I miss the absence of Commie targets.
